Ann and Tom Kelly of Baltimore, West Cork, recently held a fundraiser Summer Bar B Que at their home to raise awareness and funds for the West Cork Rapid Response. Ann herself was involved in a very serious accident some time ago and Dr. Jason Van Der Velde of West Cork Rapid Response was amongst those who came to her rescue. A wonderful evening was had by all who attended and Ann and Tom made a very generous donation of €2,000.00 to our very worthy cause. Our heartfelt thanks to Ann and Tom for their endeavours.

Two Doctors shadowed the runners in the recent Goleen to Crookhaven road race in the Rapid Response Vehicle. Funds have been raised for several local charities of which WCRR is one. Our heartfelt thanks to all who participated in the organising and participation of this great day. Our special thanks to the doctors who gave up a whole day to attend the event.
