saving lives in West Cork
At Charlie’s Bar early December, a large crowd turned out to the presentation of funds to two local charities from the proceeds of the Timoleague Duathlon. The recipients were the Timoleague National School Fund Raising Committee and West Cork Rapid response.
Local athlete Mr. Eamonn Barry (also a member of West Cork Rapid Response Fundraising Committee) also took part in the recent Iron Man Event held in Galway some time ago where he raised € 1,437.00 for the Timoleague Defibrillator Group.
At a function at the Quality Hotel on 14th December, the West Cork Triathlon Club made a donation to West Cork Rapid Response of €500.00

Clonakilty Gardai recently held a quiz night at O’Donovan’s Hotel Clonakilty, that was very well attended to help raise funds for the local West Cork Rapid Response. A sum of €1420.00 was raised on the night and generously donated to West Cork Rapid Response.

West Cork Rapid Response is a voluntary group located in West Cork, Ireland. We work in partnership with the existing HSE Medical Emergency services with a Rapid Response Vehicle servicing all of West Cork.
